How to pop shove it?
- Start with an ollie position with your front foot slightly further back than usual.
- Hit your tail, but instead of pushing straight down and jumping straight up, push down and behind you with the ball of your foot.
- Get your weight completely off the front foot so that there is nothing to stop the board from turning. Once you hit the tail and pushed down, the board should go into the air and start to turn under you.
- Let the board hit your front foot when it is nearly as high as it can go.
- Bring your back foot over and onto the board so your feet are on it like they would be at the peak of an ollie.
- Practice the scooping motion with just your back foot while standing. With your front foot on the ground, stomp the tail of the board and guide it around 180 degrees. This will help you get the feel of the trick without worrying about falling.
